Fashion is the art of design and aesthetic design or natural beauty for clothing.
Fashion design involves a set of skills ranging from market research and creativity
to sketching and selection of fabrics. Modern fashion designs are divided into two basic
categories of haute couture and ready-made. In the fashion industry,
various innovations and improvements have been made in this field. Additionally,
many things can be used as inspiration. In this study, researchers chose Malaysia
Stamps as inspiration for research. The main purpose of this research is to inform the
younger generation that they will now be stamped and attract their interest in continuing
to collect stamps. One of the ways to increase the awareness of the younger generation is
by designing a travel wear concept. Millennium is one of the largest consumer fashion groups today.
Studying Malaysia stamps and how they can be interpreted in the design
will help increase appreciation for stamp creators. However, the method used in this study is
the silhouette and pattern design of the Stamp frame. This collection focuses on the print technique
of fabrics as well as the lesser cut patterned stamps. This collection will experiment with new
styles to create unique looks using adobe Photoshop and adobe illustrator. As a result of this collection,
the concept of this design collection is for the younger generation who are now eager to travel and
can also be used as casual wear.
